I‘m a genre fluid trumpet player and composer, based in Berlin.

Growing up in a very small village in Northern Germany, there was not much talking - music and particularly playing the trumpet became my tool to connect to the world.

As a trumpet player, I regularly play with the leading ensembles of Contemporary Music like Ensemble Modern a.o. I hold the position of pricipal trumpet in the Basel Sinfonietta. I have been a band member of PEACHES and also part of works by Yaël Bartana and Matthew Barney. With my solo artist project, I’m combining the sounds of the trumpet with Electronic Music. Last year I performed as support act of Hauschka (Volker Bertelmann).

Studying with Heiner Goebbels, I started composing. Since then I have been composing sound installations, a soundwalk, concert music and a TikTok Opera. Cinema is very close to my heart. And when producing the debut film of my wife, filmmaker Lisa Friederich, I started film scoring. In the past three years I have been writing music for feature and short film and TV.

Since 2023 I‘ve been part of the Female Producer Collective.
